There are a few things that SRC must have before a decision can be made to take in your dog. Use the following checklist to ensure you have gathered all information needed and then email SRC at adoptions@schnauzerrescueofthecarolinas.org. If you do not have any of the following, make sure to explain why.
Once SRC receives all of the items, a decision will be made within 72 hours as to whether or not we can take in your dog. Please note that it will be up to the discretion of SRC as to whether or not we meet the dog before accepting it into rescue.
If we accept your dog into rescue, you will be required to sign a notarized Owner Release Form, and once that is received, the intake of the dog can take place at a location deemed appropriate by SRC. DOWNLOAD AN OWNER RELEASE BELOW.
